Shifting Gears: Bicyclists & Public Safety April 2014

With summer and the nicer weather upon us the Ashland Police Department remind motorist to be vigilant in being aware of cyclists. Please take a moment to watch this informative video on bike laws and safety produced by MassBike and co-produced by Boston PD.

Property Disposal

In accordance with Massachusetts General Law, unclaimed and abandoned property will be sold by means of an online auction by PROPERTY ROOM.com (www.propertyroom.com). The property may include bicycles, jewelry, televisions, computer equipment, electronics, tools, watches, cameras, apparel, and other unclaimed property. The items to be auctioned are in "AS IS" condition and are in no way guaranteed or under warranty by the Ashland Police Department or the Town of Ashland.

Any person who believes they may have unclaimed property being held by the Ashland Police Department (or is currently up for auction), should contact the department immediately at 1-508-881-1212 to determine if they have a claim to the property (proof of ownership will be required).
