ARTICLE II § 77-17 of the Ashland Town Bylaws states the following:

"If a burglar alarm in any commercial, industrial or residential structure is falsely activated more than 3 times in a calendar year, the owner, lessee or individual in charge of that structure shall be liable for a fine of $50 dollars for the 4th alarm, and $100 for the 5th and subsequent false alarms."

Billing Payments

The Ashland Police Department mails out alarm billings on the 1st of each month unless the 1st falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday. Reminder notices are not mailed out. Payment is due within 30 days.
