The Ashland Auxiliary Police Department is currently accepting applications. Any qualified Ashland resident wishing to apply is asked to come to the Ashland Police Department and obtain / complete the required application.

Requirements for Auxiliary position.

• Must be a resident of Ashland.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must successfully complete the 242 hours reserve police academy.

• Must be certified in CPR & First Responder.

• All persons must pass a background check.

• Must put in a minimum of 240 hours per year.

• Must be willing to donate your time back to the community.

The above is required prior to any recommendation for an auxiliary position at the sole cost to the applicant; the police dept. does not pay for any training or equipment.
