Ashland Teen Advisory Committee (ATAC) is proud to announce that we have successfully completed one year of planning.  We will continue, with close collaboration with Ashland Police, Fire, DPW, Town Officials, School Administration, Church Officials, Parents and local business owners!   ATAC is made up of concerned community members, dedicated to bringing about safe, free and fun events for high school aged teens living in Ashland.

ATAC supports activities which promote positive outlets for youthful energy and actions.  ATAC aligns with Decisions at Every Turn, which develops educational programs to moderate/mitigate destructive behaviors and decisions by teens.

ATAC supports Ashland Coalition of Teens(ACT), a group of teens, who plan and develop regular events where teens enjoy themselves in a fun, positive way.

Our next event will be a bonfire, organized by ACT, mentored and supported by ATAC volunteers.  There will be a dj.  The bonfire will be held on October 1, 2011, 8p-10p, at the Ashland Community Center.  This is a free event, free refreshments(Marathon Deli sandwiches, popcorn, baked goods and drinks).  Ashland Police, Fire and chaperones will be in attendance.

If you have any interest in volunteering or baking desserts, please call Cara Tirrell at 508-881-0140 x18

Thank you.
